Last week Lora and I were able to attend Josiah Venture’s Orientation in Wheaton, IL.

We are so thankful, for those who have given support to us thus far. Without your support we wouldn’t have been able to attend this important and encouraging training. We are so blessed to the Gienke family who were brave enough to take all three kids for us for the week!

We left Monday afternoon, and arrived at the JV Geneva house...

It was a very nice place to stay. We stayed with two other couples the Trenckmann’s and the Washington’s.

Tuesday through Friday was a time of learning who JV is, their history, mission/vision and core values as well as all the policies in our field manuals. We also learned about our online donor tracking software and expense reporting program. Very slick and should make things easier.

We are now in process of putting together our support letters as well as raising up $4,000 to be able to go to our next training (in Colorado November 30 - December 18) Please pray for us that all the support would come in enabling us to attend this next important step in the journey.
